Automation engineer. Product Owner at Oizom. I build data and documentation systems for a living, and I built Best Fitness to do for training and nutrition what good documentation does for software — make a complicated, hype-filled thing legible.

Why I run this site

I'm an engineer, not a doctor or a coach — and that's deliberately the point. I spent years learning training and nutrition the hard way: wading through influencer noise, reading the actual studies, and translating dense research into things I could actually do in the gym and the kitchen. Best Fitness is where I publish that translation, edited to the same standard I'd want before changing my own routine.

I believe in boring fundamentals over hype. Progressive overload, enough protein, enough sleep, and a supplement or two that actually have evidence behind them will take almost anyone further than the latest trend. Every article here is explanatory, sourced, and clear about its limits. Where the right answer is "it depends, ask a professional," we say so instead of pretending otherwise.

How I edit here

I run an AI-assisted publishing pipeline: I choose the topic and the primary sources, AI drafts from that research, and then I edit — fact-checking every claim, dose, and number against the authority it came from (the WHO, CDC, NIH and its Office of Dietary Supplements, the ACSM, ISSN position stands, or a peer-reviewed meta-analysis) and cutting anything that reads like hype. When a topic needs a doctor, physiotherapist, or dietitian, the article says so. The full process is on our editorial standards page.
